I found myself at Sephora’s fragrance area yesterday looking for a scent that would express my ever evolving personality. I discovered the Maison Margiela collection and was immediately taken on a journey. I closed my eyes and took in a whiff of their ‘Autumn Vibes’ and found myself in a memory hiking through the Blue Ridge Mountains on a crisp fall morning and I was in disbelief. It was magical. Then I went down the line clearing my scent using coffee beans as I smelled each bottle and was immediately transported. Sephora became a rainy field in Ireland, the middle of the ocean, a fireplace in Maine, a soft cozy invigorating lazy Sunday morning cozy in a bed with fresh linen…Magic. My favorite spellbinding scent was when I got to this one: Jazz Club. I closed my eyes and was immediately transported to a private Herbie Hancock venue, front table, fur coat, bourbon, light smoke and jazz fusion. I was in love! The scent is powerful at first but tones down mysterious and sultry. Exactly how I had evolved. I don’t smoke or drink anymore, but I can now smell and feel alluring and enigmatic. It was pricey, but there’s no price to good memories. I didn’t even know if it was made for men or women. I can see how it can be geared towards men due to societal norms, but how can a smell like this one that brought back such provocative remembrance be for one gender? Jazz Club is unisex and extraordinary.

Definitely NOT a one-note wonder!
I got this from a discovery set at Sephora and fell in love with the uniqueness of this unisex scent. It’s got a smoky, vanilla, almost boozy scent to it that’s just intoxicating. It’s probably made for men, but I LOVE how my skin brings out the sweetness of some of the notes. It also lasts for a long time - I’m a teacher so I’m always moving around, but I smell it on me even toward the end of the day. The price tag is steep, but I think it’s worth it. A very unique scent that will turn many heads!

The nice scent of the cologne is pleasant.
It is a very good smelling cologne with a deep rich scent good for any occasion. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality cologne. The fragrance lasts all day and is not overpowering. It leaves a lasting impression on everyone you meet. The scent it very versatile as well! I would say the projecting is fair not enormous. The packaging is sleek and elegant, adding to the overall luxurious experience. The cologne is worth every penny and will become your signature scent.
